The UNT Libraries and the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) are pleased to announce the launch of the new Digital Scholarship Co-Operative (DiSCo). A partnership between the Libraries and CAS, DiSCo is being established to foster the creative use of digital resources in research, teaching, and learning across the disciplines.

The Big Tent DH Event

On Friday, April 19, the University of North Texas’ Digital Scholarship Co-Operative (DiSCo) will be hosting The Big Tent Event: Defining Digital Humanities for Graduate and Undergraduate Students. This half-day symposium will introduce undergraduate and graduate students to the field of Digital Humanities, bringing together scholars, students, librarians, and professors from across the disciplines at UNT to begin a dialogue around Digital Humanities research and pedagogy.

Day of DH: Mapping Cultures - Tibetan Cultures from Religion, Art, Land, to Environment

Part of our Day of DH programming, this webinar features Ivette Vargas-O'Bryan from Austin College discussing her "Mapping Cultures" course, which involves students curating online exhibits of Tibetan art, and culminates in an exhibit at the Crow Collection of Asian Arts in Dallas titled "Taking Shape: Perspectives on Asian Bronzes."
